Friends for the Cure Pledge Program
The Friends for the Cure Pledge Program gives you the opportunity to raise money that stays in your community to help individuals who are, or who will be, affected by breast cancer. When you sign up as a Friend for the Cure, up to 75% of the money you raise through donations goes to help your family, friends and neighbors who live in Collin, Denton and Grayson counties for breast health education, breast cancer screening, and treatment programs. The remaining 25% goes to fund national breast cancer research programs.
Also, when you participate in our Friends for the Cure fundraising program you can become eligible to earn some great rewards based on the total amount you raise between now through June 30th 2010. Check out our Fundraising Reward Program for prizes!
2010 Fundraising Levels
- $250 – $499.99
- $500 - $749.99
- $750 - $999.99
- $1000 - $1499.99
- $1500 - $2499.99
- $2500 - $4999.99
- $5000 – $7499.99
- $7500 - $9999.99
- $10,000 +
In addition, be one of our top 25 fundraisers for 2010 and earn a spot on our Pink Honor Role, which gives you preferred parking the day of the Race, an invite to our Post Race Party for you and a guest, and other great Race giveaways.
If each participant simply collects $100 (whether it’s through ten $10 donations, two $50 donations, or a single donation) the total raised by the Komen North Texas Affiliate alone to fight this disease would add up to $1.2 million dollars!
