The purpose of Susan G. Komen North Texas is provide breast health services and education to the medically underserved women and men of Archer, Baylor, Clay, Collin, Cooke, Denton, Fannin, Grayson, Hunt, Montague, Wichita, Wilbarger and Wise counties, as well as fund the national Susan G. Komen Research Grants program.

In order to guide our priorities and work more effectively within the community, Komen North Texas conducts a needs assessment which results in the Community Profile Report.  With the data collected in this report, which includes demographic and breast cancer statistics, an independent grants review panel can make the greatest impact on breast cancer in North Texas by awarding local grants for education, screening, and treatment programs, aligned with the most significant needs in the community.
