Thank you for your interest in the Komen North Texas Community Grants program.  Komen North Texas offers Community Grants for innovative projects in the areas of breast health education, outreach, screening, treatment, patient navigation and ancillary services not otherwise available for the medically underserved populations in Archer, Baylor, Clay, Collin, Cooke, Denton, Fannin, Grayson, Hunt, Montague, Wichita, Wilbarger and Wise counties.

Eligibility Requirements

To be eligible to apply for a Komen Community Grant, your organization must be:

  • A federally tax-exempt entity (nonprofit organization, government agency, educational institution or Native American tribe)
  • Applicant must provide services in the specified Affiliate service area
  • Program must be specific to breast health and/or breast cancer services

GeMS Applicant User Manual

All applications must be initiated in GeMS by Thursday, November 17th at 5pm.
All applications are due by 12:00 noon (CST) on Monday, November 28th.

In addition to submitting an application, each applicant must attend the mandatory grant writing workshop on Wednesday, October 5 from 9:30-11:30 a.m.  Training will be held in the boardroom at the Cambria Hotel & Suites in Plano/Frisco.  Space is limited.  Depending on the number of attendees, applicants may be asked to send only one representative per organization.  For applicant offices located 50+ miles away from Komen North Texas, please contact us for webinar information.
