Help our Communities!
We’re dedicated to making tomorrow breast cancer-free—and to meeting the real needs of survivors today. Seventy-five percent of the net funds raised by the North Texas Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure® fund breast health education, screening and treatment for the women and men in Collin, Denton and Grayson counties. Twenty-five percent of the net funds raised support breast cancer research initiatives internationally.

The 2009 Komen North Texas Race raised $1,000,000 and had close to 12,000 registered participants.

Due to our very successful 2009 Race, we will be able to grant to organizations in our service area of Collin, Denton and Grayson counties.  Our Grantees rely on our funding to help care for the many uninsured and underinsured women and men in our communities who will battle breast cancer this year. Without these organizations, and without this funding, these women and men would have nowhere else to turn.
